London, ON, August 28, 2019 – Local marketing and software firm, tbk, announced today that its staff pet care assistance program, tbk’s Molly Fund, is now available to the general public. The Molly Fund was originally an internal benefit for tbk staff but now anyone in the community that has a dog in need of a medical amputation may apply for financial assistance.
“When a dog needs a medical amputation, owners are left with the choice of either funding this procedure or putting their dog down,” says Andrew Schiestel, tbk’s President. “For some families, the financial means may not be there for the surgery. We don’t want money to get in the way of people providing the love and care that their pet needs. The goal of tbk’s Molly Fund is to save the lives of pets in our community and make families happier.”
On successful applications, tbk will cover 75% of the fees for the amputation surgery, up to $3,000. Applicants can apply in advance of the surgery to have peace of mind that the funds are available or may apply within six (6) months after the medical procedure is complete.

In 2019, tbk endowed the Molly Fund with a $10,000 contribution. In addition to this initial endowment, tbk’s staff and a client have further contributed to the Fund.
