tbk’s Molly Fund is a pet assistance program, established in April, 2019, to aid tbk staff members accumulating excessive veterinarian bills. This program stemmed from an experience tbk’s CEO, Melissa McInerney, had 12 years ago, when her dog, Molly, severely fractured her leg and required amputation surgery. Given that Melissa was in the early years of her career and had just graduated university with student debt, it was a sympathetic family friend who provided the funds to give Molly this important surgery.

The Molly Fund was introduced at tbk to prevent anyone else on our team from facing the type of financial plight Melissa and Molly did years ago. In 2019, tbk endowed the Molly Fund with a $10,000 contribution, and tbk’s staff and a client have since contributed further.

As of August, 2019, tbk’s Molly Fund opened to public applications to help assist families and pets in our surrounding community. For more information, please read the Terms of Reference below.
