On April 27, 2016, I served on the speaker panel at the London Chamber of Commerce’s Digital Privacy event alongside business lawyer at Harrison Pensa LLP, David Canton and Director General at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, Brent Homan.
The video starts off (0:01 to 7:39m) by offering some practical check-list style tips to help companies comply with some of the basic provisions of the Canadian Anti-Spam Law (CASL).
Since many publications before this have provided tips to comply with CASL and our Canadian businesses are still struggling with it, for many, the value of this video may rest in the second half.
In the second half (7:40 to 17:33m) I share as pragmatically as I can:
How do you feel about CASL and would you like to see it lightened for our Canadian businesses? Send me an email if you want to chat about it or offer support in some way – Andrew@tbkCreative.com.
Would you like to share this article / video on social media? I encourage you to associate your post with #LightenCASL.
