Welcome to September!

Each month, tbk Creative connects in with some of our clients to find out what accomplishments and initiatives they have on the go.

As you’re about to read, many of them didn’t rest as much as they could have in August!

Here’s a list of this month’s Client Express:

Siskinds The Law Firm – London-based law firm Siskinds LLP, was recently recognized by Canadian Lawyer Magazine as one of Ontario’s top 10 Regional Law Firms. Being up against hundreds of potential candidates, this is a very distinguished title.

102.3 BOB FM (Rogers) – The newly acquired Rogers Communications radio station has a history of community involvement. Last month, the BOB team partnered with tbk Creative and launched a kindness project called BOB’s Kindness Experiment. We basically invited London community leaders to go out into the City, perform an act of kindness and encourage the recipients to pay it forward. People such as Mayor Joe Fontana, London Police Chief Bradley Duncan, /A’s (soon to be CTV’s) Nick Paparella, amongst others graciously stepped up.

Here is Police Chief Duncan’s 2:37 minute video of him and other Police Officers serving the women at My Sister’s Place for an afternoon.

City Centre Apartments – London-based real estate developer and management company, City Centre Apartments partnered with tbk Creative to build a brand new website to better serve the rental marketplace. This website has become a leader in the local marketplace with its custom use of Google Maps to showcase its available properties (built in jQuery making it fully iPad and iPhone compatible). You can view the website here.

Fertility Ontario – One of Ontario’s top fertility clinics, Fertility Ontario, is rapidly expanding having brought on their team 4 new esteemed doctors – Dr. Valter Feyles Ph.D., MD FRCS(C), Dr. Jackie Hollett-Caines MD FRCS(C), Dr. Maggie Rebel MD FRCS(C), Dr. Maggie Rebel MD FRCS(C). Having a larger medical team will help the organization fulfill on its goal of helping patients, “Have a happy and healthy pregnancy.”

SPENCER – London-based vocational and employment experts, SPENCER, has unveiled a new website tbk Creative built for them. The website brings to life the company’s brand and expertise, using professional photography and strong core messaging. You can view the website here. The company continues to expand its reach in the southwestern Ontario marketplace.

Habitat for Humanity London – Many know Habitat for Humanity as only a not-for-profit that builds homes. You may be surprised to learn that they have a retail division of supply stores called Restore, where the proceeds of the items purchased goes towards the administrative costs of the charity. This summer, the charity launched their second Restore in London Ontario!

On September 10, 2011, the new Restore at 317 Adelaide St. S. will be hosting their Grand Opening. There will be fun and games for families who attend, 98.1 FREE FM will be reporting live, Diane Finley (MP) will be in attendance, amongst other community leaders .

That completes tbk Creative’s Client Express for this month.

I’m very proud of what these organizations have accomplished over the summer. With September now kicking into full force, I can’t wait to see what they have in store for the fall!
